What to expect from pelvic PT?

  • Get in Touch

Contact us at info@twobloomspt.com with any questions you have, or to request a free consultation. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible! And check out our FAQ page to answer some common questions our patients have.

  • Consultation and Scheduling

Once we get in touch, a physical therapist will contact you to discuss your symptoms and goals for PT. If you and the therapist feel good about beginning treatment, we will schedule a full evaluation to create a comprehensive treatment plan.

  • Evaluation

The initial evaluation is our time to get to know you better! We will discuss relevant medical history, current symptoms, lifestyle and daily routines as well as your priorities and goals for therapy.

Our therapists will also perform a basic assessment of muscles, joints, posture and general movement. Your therapist may also examine the pelvic floor muscles, either via internal or external exam.

At the end of the evaluation, we will create a treatment plan that can include home exercises & lifestyle modifications.

  • Ongoing Treatment

At Two Blooms Physical Therapy, we strive to provide therapy that is effective and tailored to your lifestyle. As working parents, we know how hectic life can get and how hard it can be to prioritize health and wellness. Our goal is to provide a treatment plan that is realistic, achievable and efficient. Typically our patients benefit from 6-8 visits of therapy, with an emphasis on providing education and help in carrying over the skills you build in PT to your every day life. We LOVE to see you. but our goal is to get you well and out of the clinic as soon as possible!
